Hooray! I have breast cancer (only!)

My MRI results came back. There is no evidence of metastatic disease in the liver. Everything else looked good! This means it is local and has not spread beyond my left breast and lymph nodes near there.

Thank you for your prayers, good thoughts and wishes. They worked and we felt the love! Thank you for riding this roller coaster with us. We appreciate you.

And whoever thought I’d be saying, “Yay! I have only breast cancer!”, right?! But I am so relieved.

Let’s do this! Chemo starts Monday.

    it’s amazing how our mind shifts from terrified to grateful even though we are still in the thick of it. You’ve got this rose.

    hallelujah I mean yeah and no – thank god it is localized.

    don’t be afraid to ask if there’s anything for (insert whatever is bugging you). It’s surprising how many helps there are for the various things that come along with chemo etc. The nurses know, they’ve gotten creative too. We’re routing for you! Thank you for keeping us posted as you can. We love yous!
