I had my 5th chemo treatment 2 weeks ago. Now I just have one more chemo treatment to go!

I haven’t updated in a while because I have had so much going on. Funny, life just keeps happening even when you are sick. God doesn’t give you more than you can handle? Ha! I won’t go into it, but it’s been rough. I am staying positive. “This too shall pass” and “One day at a time” are sayings that I often repeat.

However, I don’t want to dwell on all that. Looking ahead, I meet with my surgeon on Wednesday to talk about what that will look like. I will continue to get infusions every three weeks, and per the current plan, will have 5 weeks of radiation after the surgery.

I think the chemo recovery is probably the worst part of all of this, and that’s almost behind me.
