I have the MRI of my liver scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.

I have also learned that I don’t need a port to start chemo. They can use an IV. Chemo starts Monday, November 3.

I am looking into cooling caps to help me keep my hair. I am also looking into nutrition and foods that are naturally supposed to help fight breast cancer. I’m reading your messages and feeling thankful for strong support systems, for a job I love, and for my husband who is going through this alongside me.

Sending you so much love and healing energy! Try to eat the rainbow, and the least processed possible.

I’ve been thinking of you guys. 💜
I’m not happy you’re having to go through this but I’m very thankful you found it when you did. I’m hoping for targeted gene therapy, it sounds like it doesn’t have the chemo like side effects.

If you want a hat knit up I’d be more than happy to do up a nice soft cozy one. Just let me know what a couple of your favorite colors are. 🤗

Side note – these names are hilarious. I’m probably the last person to be star struck. I encountered John Larquette at the door of the Columbia Gorge Hotel back in the day and acted like I had no clue who he was because I figured he was on vacation. 🤣

Ask your Oncology Team if you can get a referral to their nutritionist. Fred Hutch offers visits at no charge, not sure about your current provider but definitely worth the ask! Sending you hugs!
